FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSI am working out with my health club trainer and I feel stronger. We do lots of machine work and isolate one body part at a time. Won't this benefit my golf game? Often, trainers will program exercises for a golfer that although beneficial for general strengthening, don't optimize the body's movements and capabilities in a golf-specific way. So you might be stronger-which is great-but training on machines doesn't allow your muscles to learn to work together for the most effective, powerful movement, nor are you required to use your body in a way to develop balance and coordination, a critical skill in golf. My programs are designed for golf-specific strength and power. Other trainer's programs are designed for-well, I'm not sure. Will I bulk up or lose flexibility as I start to gain muscle? No. I focus on core conditioning and functional movements that help you gain strength and power and flexibility. You'll see more muscle definition, but it's almost impossible to bulk up unless that is what you choose to work towards. I am looking for home strength training equipment. Do you have recommendations? Here are some websites which sell exercise equipment at reasonable prices. I can't make specific recommendations on what you should purchase unless we are training together and I am familiar with your needs and goals. Creative Health Products I think I could benefit from nutritional counseling. Can I work with you? I can offer you tips, help educate you, suggest resources and refer you to a nutritionist, but I don't create individual eating plans or counsel clients. Here are some resources that might be beneficial in helping you eat better and become better educated about nutrition and healthy eating. Ask the Dietitian

"I've been working with Pritam for about five months now, starting just before I turned fifty. My issue was that I would often begin to feel fatigued later in the round, and my game would suffer. (Definitely not a good thing, considering some of the criminals I play with.) Since then, I know I've gained back some length, but more importantly I feel stronger and am able to play more agressively late in the round. I recently had a streak of seven rounds between 74-78, and finished most of those rounds very strongly. I've also gained a much better understanding of how to make my own workouts more effective. I would recomment Pritam to anyone interested in improving their golf in particular and their physical strength in general." —Rich F., Seattle, WA
