FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

I am working out with my health club trainer and I feel stronger. We do lots of machine work and isolate one body part at a time. Won't this benefit my golf game?

Often, trainers will program exercises for a golfer that although beneficial for general strengthening, don't optimize the body's movements and capabilities in a golf-specific way. So you might be stronger-which is great-but training on machines doesn't allow your muscles to learn to work together for the most effective, powerful movement, nor are you required to use your body in a way to develop balance and coordination, a critical skill in golf. Our programs are designed for golf-specific strength and power. Other trainer's programs are designed for-well, we're not sure.

Will I bulk up or lose flexibility as I start to gain muscle?

No. We focus on core conditioning and functional movements that help you gain strength and power and flexibility. You'll see more muscle definition, but it's almost impossible to bulk up unless that is what you choose to work towards.

I think I could benefit from nutritional counseling. Can I work with you?

Yes, we can offer you tips, help educate you, suggest eating plans and provide resources. Please contact us for cost and availability.
